Split/Shift Conference
August 1986
A year before the New Poetics Colloquium, the KSW (mainly through the efforts of Tom Wayman) collaborated with the Vancouver Industrial Writer's Union to produce Split Shift: A Colloquium on the New Work Writing.
The event was advertised as: Readings and discussions featuring 18 writers, publishers, and educators from across North America to explore the practice and theory of the new poetry, fiction and drama about contemporary daily work." |
